As always my dream began like all the others... I feel asleep.
It was Daybreak, and I was outside doing my Tai-Chi exercises outside the temple. I suddenly felt like I was being watched, so I looked around. Standing over by the Temple vineyard was Hercules and Iolaus. Since my Tai-Chi requires vigorous movements (at times), I wear only loose fiting clothing, but somehow I was in my Amazon Garb (Black skirt, gauntalents, and boots, with a green bustier). Hercules walked over to me.
"Excuse me, but by any chance are you a Priestess in Ares' Temple?"
I was suspicious of him, after all he is the "do-gooder" my god had complained about only the day before. I answered him hestiantly, "Yes it is. Now could you please get out of the vineyard. We only planted them two months ago, you're probably hurting them." Herk and Iolaus meandered out of the vineyard. I knelt near the closest vine and crooned to it, "It's okay baby, the big bad man won't step on you again."
This caused some strange reactions from Herk and Iolaus, but hey I think plants feel pain. I got up, and brushed off my knees. "So what can I help you travelers with?" Faking innocence of their identities.
Iolaus answered "Actually, we just want to worship to Ares."
I lead them towards the temple entrance. But they could not get in!
Ares had erected a shield around the temple that would prevent
Hercules and Iolaus from getting inside. I turned at the entrance,
"Sorry Hercules, doesn't look like you'll be able to enter our temple
today. The temple guard kept a watch on them as I went inside to warn the
other Priestesses. I began with the loud Speaker. "Attention!
Attention! All Priestesses, Hercules and Iolaus are outside our temple
right now. Attention!" This caused a HUGE amount of chaos. The
summoner of Ares ran to the altar and placed all the blue M&Ms we
had collected there. (Blue M&Ms are how you summon someone.)
Arete was the first to make it to the foyer. Fireheart, Zep, Surabufix,
and kriket were not that far behind.
"What's all the noise about?" The TR priestess asked.
"We've caught Hercules in our web." The WAMLAW priestess told
her, while rubbing her hands together. "I hope Lord Ares rewards us
all for this."
Suddenly, just as the last strangler had wandered in, Ares appeared
in our midst. "Fireheart, why have you summoned me?"
"Can you not feel the presence of Hercules outside my lord?" Replied
the temple summoner.
"Yes actually I can." Ares wanders outside to taunt his baby bro. "So
if it isn't the do-gooder and his sidekick, 'has no love'. What are you
doing here, at *my* temple?"
"I came to talk peace Ares. Now could you please release us?"(Herk)
"I'll only release him (pointing at Iolaus) to the care of my Amazon
Priestesses. You I'll have to think about."
Lessa steps forward. "I'll watch him my Lord."
"Good. Now place my brother in 'the room'." Several Priestesses gasp at this proclamation.
So the guard, myself, and KimD escort Herk to "the room". KimD
stays there while I go and get the lock. The lock is secured and
Sophitia, our female guard (only exists in my dreams), guards the
door. KimD and I return to the foyer in time to hear Ares say, "I'll be
returning in six hours, please have the minimal realxation ready for me.
I'd also like a Siren performance."
"Yes, of course Lord Ares."
Ares spots me and winks, just before he leaves. I then run to the
hottub, for two reasons, 1) I need to cool down from the look. 2) I
never properly ended my exercise regime. I notice a *few* others
either making a dive in the ice, jumping into the pool, or joining me in
the 'tub. kriket announces: " I want everyone out of the 'tub in 30
minutes, or it won't be ready in time for Ares' return."
We all spend the next few hours preparing for Ares return. Just
before he does, Iphicles, a temple regular, strolls in. He is spotted by
Zepgirl first. "King Iphicles, you should not be here. We are
preparing for the coming of our Lord."
"I know Zep, but I needed to talk to you." Zep takes him into the
public area of the Temple to talk. We don't see her again until after Ares
has left.
The air in the temple is scented with Lavendar, and the lights have
been adjusted to just the right level. Ares appears in the foyer.
Fireheart walks up to him.
"I greet you Ares. Welcome once more to your temple here in the
Dominion."
"Thank you high priestess. Now I believe I have a prisoner to talk to?
After that I'll want my massage and soak."
Ares is lead off to "the room" by Arelia, who will be relieving Sophitia
at guard duty. Those on "The Crew" make our way to our places. It is
awhile before Ares joins me in the massage area. "Please just a neck
and back today Ped." I pout, only that much to drool over?
I begin the massage, and once again he yells "Lip Balm!" So Pyro
runs in, lays on the floor and applies the balm. When she doesn't
move right away Ares says "Thasnk you Pyro." She slowly gets up,
and glares at me, I shrug my shoulders as if to say "hey don't blame
me. I'm just the masseuse."
"Ped, Why were you outside the temple so early this morning?"(Ares)
"I was exercising my lord. The sunrise is the perfect time to do it. No
whiny petioners wanting my attention, no one else wanting to watch.
So the guard is the only one who watched me."
"You actually let that *boy* watch you exercise?"
"Yes my lord. I am after all *only* female."
"I'll say." He turns over, and embraces me. "So Ped do you want your
reward for capturing my half-brother?"
"(gulp) Yes my lord I do."
He brings me closer to him, leans forward... then we are rudely
interupted by Arete. "My lord, the high priestess was wondering how
much longer your massage would..." The words died in her throat
when she noticed how we were. "I'm sorry my Lord! I did not mean
to be so rude."
"It is alright Arete. Tell Fireheart it will be an hour before I'm ready."
When Arete leaves, looking like a little puppy who has just been
scolded for something. "So where were we Ped?"
"Right about here my lord."
We begin to kiss again, and I climb up onto the massage table. Ares
flips over so he's on top...(censored to keep this forum PG-13)
When we are done with the "massage", he whispers "I'll return to you
tonight Ped." I just sort of stay there drooling on my self as he leaves.
An hour later, I think, I'm collected by the other Sirens because our
performance is to begin soon. Ares is sitting in the throne, and we
walk in and take our positions. We begin the performance with
"Beatiful dreamer." All the songs in our reparte follow. While we are
performing KimD and Pyro make sure no part of his body get chapped.
"(clapping) Excallent Sirens. Now I must leave you all. I have a war
in Carthage I must go and fix. They're trying to make peace."
He then kisses everyone on the lips, and priestesses go THUD all
around the room. He laughs. When he gets to me he whispers just
before the kiss, "Remeber Ped. I'll be back tonight."
I'm not sure where it would have gone after that because I woke up,
But I think that was quite a dream. Don't you?
